Here at DS Automotive, we pride ourselves on our reputation for delivering the highest quality of service to all of our customers, we are looking for a person who is passionate, driven and responsible to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for a small team of technicians and the day-to-day running of the workshop.
**Job Responsibilities include**:
- Supervise and motivate a team of vehicle technicians in relation to time and workloads and the ability to make clear and accurate decisions.
- Analysing work orders carefully to understand a vehicle's condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and what work has been agreed to.
- Provide outstanding customer service to customers both face-to-face and by phone
- Creating quotations
- Liaising with suppliers, maintaining stock and ordering parts and supplies
- To promote and ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed
- Assist and work closely with the Service Advisor as required
**Key Experience and Skills**:
- A strong understanding of automotive systems and functionalities is essential
- The ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
- Competent in the use of computer systems and parts lookup systems
- Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work.
- Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential barriers
- Experience in vehicle workshop management.
- A full and valid UK Driving Licence
**Salary**: £35,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: One location
