Contract Type: Part-time, Fixed term until 14/07/2024

**The Role**:
DHI are recruiting for a Triage Worker within the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Team, working to support clients within South Glos who are experiencing problematic use of drugs and alcohol. We are looking for people who can bring creativity and enthusiasm to supporting clients to make positive changes in their lives.

The Triage Worker is the first point of contact for all services for people referred or self-referring for drug and alcohol services. We are looking for people who can provide a welcoming, calm and motivating initial contact point for all service users, especially those who are new to the service.

You will be responsible for processing referrals and undertaking triage assessments over the phone providing advice and signposting to address any needs. Experience in working with people with substance issues is desirable, you should be computer literate, efficient & methodical while being kind and calm to complete our comprehensive risk assessments over the telephone.

**A Driving Licence with access to a vehicle and willingness to use it for work travel is essential**
