**Equans is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor, to join our team in The City Academy, Hackney, London, E9 6EA on a permanent basis. This is a full time vacancy working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12.19 per hour.**

**Shift times**:
Mon-Fri 11:00-1900

**What will you deliver?**

To supervise the cleaning team, ensuring all areas of the building are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- To provide general supervision of the cleaning team.
- To undertake general cleaning duties as required, including but not limited to the following, cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish.
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is safe to use before commencing duties and reporting any defects immediately.
- To ensure all cleaning equipment used is cleaned and returned to designated storerooms in a safe and tidy manner after use.
- To undertake major and minor periodic cleaning duties as may be required, including but not limited to carpet cleaning, stripping/sealing/polishing of floors and cleaning of ceiling tiles/vents.
- Performing regular quality checks of the standard of cleaning and reporting as required

**Who are we looking for?**
- Previous experience as a cleaner
- Previous supervisor experience
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety / Cleaning requirements

**_For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential_**
