**Job Type**:Fixed Term Contract - 31st March 2025

**Working Pattern**:Part Time, 22.5 Hours per week

**Salary Range**:£23,893 per annum (£14,529.52 part time)

Destination Coventry is a collaboration between Coventry City Council and Coventry C Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce. Our Oversight Board includes representatives from the Council, the Chamber, the Business Improvement District, Visit England and the private sector.

We represent the city’s valuable tourism, leisure and hospitality sector, which generates over £750 million, supports circa 7,354 jobs**, **and attracts over 11 million visitors annually. Working closely with sector members, local and national partners, and the broader industry, we are committed to the successful and sustainable development of tourism, leisure and hospitality in Coventry and the wider region.

What we’re looking for

Join our team at Destination Coventry, supporting our digital marketing strategy. To design, develop and deliver digital assets and contributing to marketing campaigns in order to drive an increase in visitor footfall and spend, stimulate economic growth, and raise Coventry’s profile as a destination of distinction for conferencing and business events, tourism, culture and large scale city events.

If you are degree educated in marketing and communications, or have at least two years’ experience working in a similar role, then this could be a role for you promoting Coventry as a destination of distinction for visitors to come and experience Coventry and the wider region of Warwickshire.

- To promote Coventry as a destination of distinction by working closely with public, private and third sector partners to deliver new marketing resources and campaigns and support the key business and leisure destination brands for the city and wider sub-region, as applicable.
- To support the development and management of key income-generating services and destination solutions and lead on performance monitoring of such solutions - whether directly delivered, commissioned, or contracted.
- To lead on the delivery of service information and marketing interventions within key destination and partnership programmes, utilising digital platforms where applicable.
- To represent Coventry at key business and leisure tourism exhibitions and other promotional events in the UK and overseas, including (on occasions) work to support pre and post event marketing, communication and operational planning.
- Design and deliver key marketing campaigns that encourage business and leisure tourism to Coventry and the wider sub-region, including the use of social media, innovative digital marketing and the latest technology.
- Design and deliver suitable destination and tourism promotional materials including brochures, magazines, e-newsletters and social media content/initiatives - utilising current communication platforms and identifying new platforms for further content development.
- Create, update and maintain the data published on the leisure and business tourism and conference websites. This will include using content management systems.
