Our client is a specialist hedge fund, HQ'd in London. After recent good performance and the recent launch of new funds, they are now looking to add a Compliance Manager to their existing team in London.
Reporting into the Chief Compliance Officer, the Compliance Manager will be expected to perform a broad generalised compliance role, with an emphasis on Surveillance tasks.
Duties will include:
- Surveillance monitoring for best execution, market abuse and market manipulation
- Monitoring the firms shareholder disclosures responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the compliance monitoring programme
- Provide regulatory advice to senior stakeholders
- Conduct thematic reviews
- Maintain, update and implement compliance policies and procedures
- 5-7+ years compliance experience, ideally within a hedge fund or investment manager
- Strong understanding of surveillance, ideally within equities
- Generalist compliance experience
