- facing and administrative roles for the team. This involves assisting our physiotherapist in all physiotherapy disciplines and completing various admin duties across our in-patient, out-patient and rehab services at the hospital.

**Responsibilities Include**:
Clinical Patient Care
- To undertake specific skilled support work to aid the rehabilitation of patients.
- To assist the qualified physiotherapist in the assessment and rehabilitation of patients.
- To accept patients referred by a qualified physiotherapist and manage and prioritise own patient case load delegated by the qualified physiotherapist.
- To support the delivery of small group exercise classes, under the direction of senior members of the team.
- To communicate effectively with other healthcare staff and patients by using appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication.
- To keep accurate record of work undertaken in accordance to our Physiotherapy service standards.
- To liaise with our physiotherapists as necessary regarding patient care.

**Administration**:

- To assist with general administrative duties related to the running of a physiotherapy department such as using our TM2 diary management.
- Help the department run smoothly by preparing clinical paperwork and assist with patient referral forms.
- To contribute to development of physiotherapy service delivery and patient care by attending relevant team, departmental or other appropriate meetings.
- To aid the management of departmental cleanliness and infection prevention standards, in conjunction with hospital protocols and help to maintain levels of stock equipment.

**Skills/Experience Required**:

- Experience in a customer service focused environment
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Approachable, personable and able to adapt to different situations, keen to improve customer experience
- A team player with exceptional planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- Flexible and ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent IT skills with proven skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word

- 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
- 28 consultation rooms

- Cardiac catheterisation lab
- Specialist intensive care beds

- Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
- Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
