An exciting opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive team of Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapists and assistants.

- To undertake clinical support work to aid the rehabilitation of patients referred to the MSK Physiotherapy Department.
- To assist the MSK Physiotherapy team in delivering care and treatments for patients with simple, non-complex conditions within agreed parameters set by the Physiotherapist, monitoring progress and liaising with qualified staff members regarding the patients’ response to treatment.
- To be responsible for a caseload of patients and maintain associated records with support and direction from Senior Physiotherapy staff.
- To communicate with the relevant members of the team, other health professionals, patients and carers with regard to the delivery of patient focused care.
- To participate in the departmental continuous professional development programme (CPD), departmental education, training, audit and evidence-based projects.
- To have regular supervision with Senior Physiotherapy staff.
- To carry out a range of administrative/housekeeping/cleaning tasks related to the development and smooth running of the Whittington Health MSK Physiotherapy Department(s)as required including stocktaking, ordering and IT based work.
