Eden Ward - Obs & Gynae Specialty
Eden Ward cares for elective gynaecology and urology patients. It manages the post-operative care of day/overnight patients. There is also an inpatient bed base of 20 looking after more major surgery, emergencies and some medical patients.
We treat our patients with a multi-professional approach, ensuring that their dignity is at the forefront of the care we provide. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, enthusiastic and be able to work well under pressure.
Full time (37.5 hours per week) and part time hours may be available.
Working in the NHS is not all about making other people richer or doing meaningless, boring and unrewarding jobs - it’s real work with real people. It takes flexibility, commitment and compassion, but in return we can offer you a rewarding career where you can really make a difference.
With strong team working skills, you will be able to demonstrate the values that are important to us, communicating well with both colleagues and patients. We are open to your ideas for how to improve the services we offer; without compromising on quality and always treating patients and team-mates with respect and dignity.
Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.
Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways. Please talk to us at interview about any flexible working arrangements you would prefer or require. While we may not be able to fully accommodate all requests, such requests will not be referenced during the interview scoring process, and we will fully consider and try to accommodate them for successful applicants.
Our healthcare assistants are key members of the team. Without you we would not be able to give the quality care we do - to thank you for your dedication and hard work, we promise you:
A rewarding job, where your care makes a daily difference to our patients.
Supportive on the job training and induction, including the opportunity to build on your healthcare career with an opportunity to access a nurse career pathway.
Guaranteed monthly income.
Be a part of a team dedicated to providing first class patient care.
Option of full and Part time hours.
Staff support networks.
Staff benefit packages, with access to the employee pension scheme.
Staff recognition.
