Working in the NHS is not all about making other people richer or doing meaningless, boring and unrewarding jobs - it’s real work with real people. It takes flexibility, commitment and compassion, but in return we can offer you a rewarding career where you can really make a difference.
With strong team working skills, you will be able to demonstrate the values that are important to us, communicating well with both colleagues and patients. We are open to your ideas for how to improve the services we offer; without compromising on quality and always treating patients and team-mates with respect and dignity.

You will be trained to complete your Care Certificate which gives you all the skills you need to be a success (aside from your brilliant personality and helpful nature). But it doesn’t stop there - if you want to progress in your career we can even offer you the opportunity to specialise with specialist skills or take our fantastic apprenticeship to become a nurse. No university fees, no student debts - you can earn whilst you learn What are you waiting for?
The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We serve a population of around 500,000 people - a figure that can increase significantly with

Keeping at the forefront of medical advances, we are continually developing our clinical services as well as our facilities and are committed to maximising the range of specialist care that can be offered locally. Allied to this is a growing reputation for research and innovation.
