Looking for a new challenge in Credit Control?
General Building Plastics are an independently owned builders merchant who have been trading for over 30 years. We are looking to add a Part time Credit Controller/Admin Assistant to our Finance team.
**Responsibilities include**
- Managing your own ledger of accounts to ensure cash is received on time in full, meaning targets are consistently met.
- Working closely with customers & the commercial team to ensure effective resolution of customer debt.
- Processing cash and card payments accurately.
- Credit limit management and opening of customer accounts.
- In addition, you will be required to complete departmental administrative tasks such as delivery note scanning, and general tasks associated with an office environment.
**Essential Skills**
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate competence in using Microsoft Office tools.
- A proven track record of providing strong customer service.
- Experience of working in an accounts department.
Credit control experience would also be beneficial.
The hours for the role are 07:30-12:30, Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday morning. Salary starts from £16,000 per year, depending upon experience.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
