**Introduction**
- Part-time or Full-time position - (25hrs per week part time / 37.5 hours full time)
- Our Office Hours for a Full-time position are 08:30 - 17:00 (Mon-Thurs) 08:30 - 14:00 (Fri)
- Office hours for Part-time position will be 08:00 - 13:00 (Mon-Fri)
- Flexible working hours can be agreed to suit within the office hours.
- Our Head Quarters is based in Mochdre, along the coast in North Wales home to many family attractions, places of beauty and near the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.
- To provide an efficient and effective procurement service to projects and the business.
- Ensuring that suitable arrangements are in place to ensure that beneficial rates and terms are established and maintained throughout the supply chain, adding value to the business whilst at the same time meeting expected quality standards and ensuring that goods are expedited to meet project specific timescales.

**Key Requirements of the Role**
- Comply with Business (and where necessary project) procurement procedures.
- Monitor flow of material requisitions and ensure authorisation protocol is followed.
- Process material requisitions in accordance with the company's processes, policies and procedures.
- Interface with key supply chain providers and conduct performance reviews.
- Monitor expenditure to ensure that up-to-date cost information is available and known to the Business.
- Negotiate deals, terms, and long-term arrangements with supply chain providers.
- Expedite supply chain providers in a proactive manner.
- Prepare tender enquiries and pricing schedules.
- Co-ordinate the provision of pricing information to support the compilation of tenders.
- Represent Procurement at meetings (both internal and external to the Business).
- Add value in reducing internal spend and monitor/report upon benefits delivered.
- Work to drive the business procurement strategy forward.
- Perform other duties as required by the Commercial Manager.
- Share the responsibility of responding to external phone calls and redirecting them accordingly.

**Experience/Competencies**

**Work Experience (Desirable)**:

- Working knowledge of basic plant, equipment and materials.
- Working knowledge of equipment costs.
- Electronic processing or order documentation.
- Previous experience/knowledge of procurement.
