Financial Controller

Reed Finance Cumbria are pleased to be working exclusively with a world leading organisation based in Penrith to recruit an experienced Finance Controller for their well-established team. The Financial Controller will be a key member of the wider internationalteam, with the key area of focus being the UK&I region.

The ethos of the team is continuous improvement and excellence, so we are looking for a true collaborator, who can lead & develop the team and financial processes - championing change and working with multiple stakeholders to drive business performance.

**Day to day duties**
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (IFRS)
- Ensure effective, accurate and timely reconciliation of the company accounts
- Monitor internal controls and analysing KPI’s
- Lead annual financial audits, external and internal
- Provide support for in time issuing the annual statutory financial statements (UK GAAP**)**

**Skills & Experience required for Success**
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)/Qualified by experience/Part qualified
- Professional experience as a Senior Accountant or Financial Controller in an international company.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes and ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
