One Can Trust is an amazing charity and has been serving the local community with weekly emergency food parcels for the past 12 years. We are looking for a new **Food Bank Administrator. **This is an admin role like no other It involves significant input into the coordination of parcel deliveries, returns and day to day activities in the food bank - no two days are ever the same and it really is a fantastic opportunity to utilise and learn new skills for a very worthwhile cause.

Demand is high and we are looking for a fast-learner to pick up the reins with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and join the small core Operations team in our office in Duke Street, High Wycombe.

Jo Belshaw, Operations Manager

**Time commitment**:
Ideally, we are looking for someone to work full time (35hours/week). However, we would consider reduced hours or possibly a job share. The role would need to be office based (11 Duke Street, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP13 6EE).

**Main tasks**:

- Developing and maintaining One Can Trust’s social media presence on key platforms with a view to increasing reach and engagement.
- Producing the monthly reports for staff and trustees. Producing the monthly newsletter (via Mailchimp) for staff, trustees, volunteers, donors and supporters.
- Tracking and processing returned parcels: liaising with clients to arrange redelivery or collection and updating the team with appropriate information.
- Where necessary, assisting with the input of referral information into the referral database and producing parcel lists.
- Within reason, any other administrative and support duties, as required. Very often, this can simply be rolling up your sleeves to pack or deliver parcels when volunteers are unavailable at short notice

**Key Skills**:

- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of other packages such as Mailchimp and SurveyMonkey would be advantageous.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of key social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- An ability to remain calm in a busy office environment is crucial, whilst remaining polite, friendly and professional at all times.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential coupled with impeccable verbal and written skills also.
- Ability to drive would be desirable although not essential.

**Additional information**:

- A DBS (Disclosure and Debarring Service) check will be required to provide a range of ID documents, for example: passport, driving licence, bank statement, utility bill etc. This check will confirm that you do not have any criminal convictions that would prevent you from being able to volunteer with vulnerable adults or children.
- Full training and mentoring will be given with the opportunity to shadow other members of the team as part of the training.

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
