As an Engagement and Resettlement Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the children (15 - 17) at HM YOI Werrington by assessing learning levels, identifying ambitions and developing a learning plan. You will have a caseload of learners to engage with and mentor from induction to release. You will follow the Child First Approach to support with creating aspirational career plans, offer guidance and coach the young people to achieve their targets prior to release.

**About you -**

We are looking for a dedicated individual with proven experience of working with children that have complex barriers, able to challenge in a non-confrontational manner and who is extremely passionate about making a real change to these young people’s lives.

Ideally, you will already hold Level 3 in both IAG and SEN Qualification, however we will consider applicants who would be willing to achieve these within 6 months of employment, through our fully funded in-house learning centres. However, you will already need to hold Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above).
