Play Worker

**Duties**:

- Supervise and engage children in various play activities
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to explore and learn
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Encourage social interaction and positive behavior among children
- Assist with snack time and ensure dietary restrictions are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's activities and progress
- collecting children from local schools and bringing them back to our setting.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers
- Strong observation skills to ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm when interacting with children

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in the field of childcare.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 1 month
Part-time hours: 5 per week

**Salary**: £10.82 per hour

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
