Implementation Specialist- Northern Ireland

This position reports to the Director of Implementation. This position will include high client contact.
**Essential Position Duties**:
- Coordinating with clients to research and understand their hardware and software environments, as well internal procedures related to the solution(s) being implemented.
- Assist with setting and managing client expectations related to the solution(s) being implemented.
- Assist with client communication to ensure a successful implementation.
- Remote configuration, and testing of the solution(s) being implemented.
- Remote client training on the solution(s) being implemented; training may be either (or a combination of) feature and function training, procedural training, coaching; both formal and informal.
- Development of documentation and other reference materials to be used for implementation, training, and support.
**Essential Skills**:
- Familiarity with enterprise RDBMS, SQL
- Experience with Windows OS, file directory and network navigation, basic OS admin tasks
- Working knowledge of GIS technologies, ESRI's ArcGIS platform
- Strong work ethic and proactive approach
- Desire to work in small teams with an entrepreneurial attitude
- Ability to verbally communicate clearly with client over the phone in the English language
- Good communication, enunciation and grammar skills (in the English language) are highly important.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Willingness to learn new skills
**Education / Experience**:
At least 5 year of demonstrated GIS or related experience. Familiarity with U.S. local government is preferred.
BS in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, etc. or three to four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
