Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IPAF Operator to join our team. As an IPAF Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of powered access equipment, such as scissor lifts and boom lifts, in a safe and efficient manner. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects and maintaining a high level of safety.

**Duties**:

- Operate powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers
- Perform pre-start checks on equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Safely maneuver the equipment to reach heights and positions required for the task
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating the equipment
- Inspect work areas for potential hazards and report any issues to the supervisor
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

**Requirements**:

- Valid IPAF certification is required and CSCS Card
- Proven experience operating powered access equipment, such as scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to powered access equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, and lifting
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 week

**Salary**: £17.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oldham, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- CSCS (required)
