Fixed Term Consultant Community Paediatrician - 10 PA's - 12 months**

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic clinician to join the team of paediatric staff providing Integrated Specialist Community Paediatric Services to children and young people across Suffolk. The post-holder will be based in primarily in our community base at the Child Development Centre in Bury St Edmunds. This post is a 12 months duration post.

Applicants should have a wide experience in all aspects of Community Paediatrics. The post-holder will work within the community paediatric team across West Suffolk and work jointly with multidisciplinary services for a clearly-defined geographical cluster. We are particularly looking for a post holder to lead on spasticity management, including Botulinum toxin treatments alongside Orthopaedic colleagues for children with neurodisability.

Our service has a number of specialist clinics including feeding clinics, movement clinic and joint clinics with tertiary specialists.

Experience in safeguarding is necessary, as we provide an on-call rota for safeguarding during working hours. There is currently no involvement in the emergency out of hours service.

Relocation costs may be applicable under our guidelines.

We have extremely good working relationships with nursing and allied health professionals as well as consultant colleagues within the Acute units in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds, and with Education and Social Care staff. We also work closely with our colleagues in the east of the county based in Ipswich, and the Trust aims to provide equitable community paediatric services across the whole of the county.
