Our multi-disciplinary team includes Clinical Psychology, Nursing, Dietetic, Psychiatry, CAMHS Practitioner and Paediatric posts, supported by a friendly Admin Team.
As a Consultant Paediatrician you will be making an active contribution to our multi-disciplinary approach to assessment and treatment for young people with ARFID and related eating difficulties. Our approach involves a combination of mental health, dietetic and medical input, with multi-disciplinary, multi-modal care packages tailored according to individual need.
You will be part of a cutting-edge service at the forefront of developments for people with ARFID and committed to improving care for this patient group. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our training activities alongside delivering evidence-based interventions. We work hard to involve our service users in efforts to shape and improve what we offer.

Registered Medical Practitioner
Entry on the Specialist Register in Paediatrics or be within six months of attaining a Certificate of Completion of Training at the time of interview.
Registerable medical qualification
Wide experience in all aspects of general paediatrics, culminating in award of CCT or equivalent.
~ Specialist training in general paediatrics
~ Evidenced Level 3 safeguarding training
~ Experience in day to day organisation of general paediatric services

Experience caring for children with eating disorders
Specialist interest in nutrition
Experience of implementing service change to enhance the quality of patient care.
Evidence of mental health training, or paediatric nutrition or paediatric endocrinology
Familiar with current structure of Health Service and conversant with recent initiatives and changes
Leadership qualities
Driving Licence/Able to travel independently
