Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well known charity based in Edinburgh City Centre who are looking to appoint an HR Administrator to their team on a full time, permanent basis. This charity delivers life changing services to help build safe communitiesin Scotland.
**Your new role**
In this role you will provide comprehensive delivery of a customer-focused HR and L&D administration support service. Duties will include:
- Carry out recruitment administration including:
- Monitoring recruitment drives and ensuring hiring managers and administrators use the applicant tracking system.
- Preparing job offers and ensuring all pre-employment checks are carried out
- Issuing weekly recruitment updates.
- Assist in monitoring the probationary review process, including registering and sending calendar invites where the probationary review is ending.
- Assist in the administration of contracts, amendments to contract, fixed-term contract and leaver processes.
- Prepare and send reference requests for former employees and mortgage/tenancy references as necessary.
- Responding to payroll queries from managers/staff/external agencies, escalating to HR Officer where necessary. Supporting the administration of monitoring company and statutory sick pay levels, adjustments, triggers and trends and escalate any changes ofcontractual pay to the HR Officer, including sick pay, family care pay.
- Provide support to the Learning and Development Coordinator in delivering a learning and development programme or events for employees.
- Administer online learning system, including setting up new starts, unlocking users from the system and reporting non-compliance of mandatory online training to the Learning and Development Officer.
- Assist the Learning and Development Coordinator in national events, including the Annual Lecture and Annual Conference.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to be an experienced administrator with a knowledge of HR procedures and handling confidential materials and information. You will also need to have excellent IT skills and a comprehensive knowledge of Office 365, and have the ability to prioritiseworkloads.

This role offers a competitive benefits package including a salary of £21,023 - £22,732 per annum, 31 days annual leave plus public holidays and 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working.
