Customer Service Advisor

To provide our customers with a professional, efficient and welcoming experience, ensuring high standards are being delivered.
To respond to product or service enquiries and provide efficient and accurate administrative support.
**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:
- Inputting, and processing orders on our Business Enterprise Platform.
- Liaise with other departments where necessary to address customer needs.
- Ensure back-order reports are run daily and properly addressed to meet.
- Liaise with customers regarding price discrepancies.
- Assist with invoice queries from Accounts department
- Log all complaints or returns within 24 hours.
- Dealing with all customer care issues (feedback) with the exception of ‘quality’ issues - provide all information of complaints relating to quality to the QC Manager.
- To deliver customer service requirements effectively, a degree of flexibility is required, and the post holder may be asked to perform work not specifically referred to above
**Principal Relationships**:
- Accountable to - Customer Services Supervisor
- Responsible for - Ensuring a comprehensive Customer Service experience
- Internal - Works closely with peer group in own department and across all functions in ensuring
- projects and continuous improvement activities are well thought out and delivered, on time.
- External - Maintains external contacts as necessary
**Education and Experience**:
- **Secondary school education is essential. A-level and above**:
- Proven experience of effective business operations within Customer Services
- Knowledge of Customer Services principles and practices desirable
- Proficiency in CRM systems
**Skills and Attributes**
- Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel is essential
- Positive and approachable manner with a willingness to resolve customer queries.
- Confidence talking on the phone and building relationships with counterparts.
- A keen eye for detail, to ensure orders are taken and processed faithfully
- Team player
- Organisational and planning skills
- Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
