An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IT team as an Cyber Security Specialist. The position is UK based, onsite in Paddock Wood where you will be responsible for providing specialist cyber security guidance and assurance to senior stakeholders for the Fresca Group.

As a Cyber Security Specialist you'll be responsible for evaluating and establishing requirements for the implementation of security changes and leading implementation of recommendations. Whilst ensuring that information systems are continually secure (dealing with emerging threats and addressing vulnerabilities). You will also be accountable for establishing and maintaining relevant cyber security metrics, ensuring Group alignment to the CIS framework, ensuring that information systems are continually secured (dealing with emerging threats and addressing vulnerabilities). You will act as an escalation point for any cyber risks and issues. you will also contribute to the development and implementation of cyber security strategies, policies, guidance, awareness.
- A qualification at degree level or similar level of professional experience in a similar IT Security/Cyber Security role
- Cyber security certifications / qualifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP, Cyber Security Degree)
- A sound understanding of various security frameworks, esp CIS and Cyber Essentials.
- Proven experience using various security tools / systems (e.g. SentinelOne, Solarwinds SEM, Patch Management solutions, etc)
- Strong working knowledge and experience of Microsoft security related tools, including Defender, Endpoint Manager, Purview, SCCM.
- A broad knowledge & understanding of IT (Windows, M365, Networks, Servers, etc)
- An interest and desire to learn new technologies and skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and judgment abilities

**The hours you would work**:

- Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. (40hrs per week) You would also be required to provide ad hoc non-security end user support when required including being part of a weekend support rota.
