Reservations Supervisor

One of the UK’s leading ‘white label’ hotel management companies, Legacy Hotels and Resorts Limited have a rare opportunity for a Reservations Supervisor to join our high calibre team in a well-established global brand. This role will drive the opening of the brand-new 146- bedroom Hampton by Hilton in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. This is part of a £250 million regeneration of the town centre; including 200,000sq ft of retail and leisure space, 520 space multi storey carpark and a Metrolink extension to Manchester City Centre. In the last couple of years the market has seen an increase in regeneration projects within Rochdale. This Hampton by Hilton will be located is the largest development in Rochdale in recent times.

You will have the opportunity to be heavily involved with an exciting new project, working alongside a strong senior leadership team.

**Role Overview**
- Take a positive approach towards upselling and confidently promote the product to maximise sales revenue and exceed budgeted targets
- Correctly post deposit and charges to the guest’s accounts
- Manage hotel selling strategy by opening and closing to specified rates linked to hotels business plan and as directed by your line manager
- Liaise and communicate special requirements to other departments e.g. cots, VIP’s and late arrivals.
- Prepare reports using both computerized reservation system and other computer software such as Word and Excel.
- Follow cash handling and credit procedures and report any discrepancies to your supervisor immediately
- Ensure work is carried out in a way which is cost efficient and understand the ways in which profit can be maximised
- Handle guest complaints in prompt manner that is satisfactory and professional at all times
- Put forward any ideas for service improvements and profitability to your manager
- Be fully knowledgeable of the hotel facilities and promote them wherever possible, ensuring a sales focused attitude at all times

**What are we looking for?**
- Successfully attained targeted revenue and effectively managed expenditure
- Outstanding ratings and guest feedback
- Consistently generated a significant amount of repeat business
- Maintained as low number of complaints
- No previous experience on Hilton ONQ necessary as Hampton by Hilton Rochdale will be the second hotel in the UK to roll out the PEP PMS system
