**What you’ll deliver to us**:

- Responsible for all Electronic PCBA / wiring harnesses and other related components within this Category
- Proactively review current / future needs of the business for Category and create / implement a sourcing strategy to support
- Lead the commercial negotiation, complete strategic tender processes and present to Management, with a recommended business case proposal, supplier sourcing decision and implementation plans
- Ensure all relevant policies & procedures are followed
- An understanding of KPI's and delivering against them
- Generation of status reports covering key performance measurement & business planning activity
- Ownership of spend and achieving / exceeding cost targets
- Identify suitable suppliers and monitoring their performance and competitiveness
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Work with other internal departments to ensure requirements are understood to enable procurement of parts and assemblies Qualifications & Experience.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Minimum 5 years Procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Knowledge of PCBA’s, Electronics or similar within Category would be advantageous
- Experience of developing sourcing strategies short/medium and long term
- Demonstrable experience in overseas sourcing.
- Confident in negotiating all aspects of contracts to maximise value
- Working in a cross functional environment
- Experience of purchasing in a low to high volume environment.
- Confident in negotiating price / lead time in order to maximise value and meet programme timelines.
- Project management skills including prioritization, multi-tasking, meeting firm timelines
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Incorporated in the United Kingdom Registered No. 04479217
- Exceptional communication skills
- SAP knowledge desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
