Procurement Pioneer:

Randstad Sourceright is seeking an experienced Senior Transactional Buyer to join their team in Warwick. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services from external suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop effective procurement strategies. They will also manage a portfolio of suppliers, conduct market research, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a work queue and securing timely PO issuance
  • Ensuring close cooperation with internal customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) for customer care and early involvement
  • Managing a portfolio of suppliers, negotiating price increase requests, and resolving issues related to invoicing/payment
  • Contribute to implementing globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and productivity
