**Job Function**:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a varied accounts role across purchase and sales ledger as well as the opportunity to complete a number of reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for an all round Accounts Professional to join a growing team.

**Essential Duties**:

- **Purchase ledger**_**:

- Entering approved purchase invoices into the business accounting system
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with supplier queries, ensuring fully resolved
- **Sales ledger**_**:

- Assisting credit controller with taking customer payments
- General sales ledger duties such as raising invoices, account opening and account maintenance
- Spreadsheet reconciliations on larger customer accounts
- Assisting with customer queries, ensuring fully resolved
- Banking run to local branch as required
- **Other Monthly duties**_
- Answering Finance telephone
- Assistance with reporting on bank balances/bank transactions
- Spend reporting v budget
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with other team members duties as and when required

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience of working in a Finance team and a love of numbers
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work alone as well as part of a wider team
