In this role you will take responsibility for the control and delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios. Monitor, review and report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements defined in the Project Management Plan and agreed with the Project Sponsor and Project Manager. Represent the PMO in large or high complexity projects, under the guidance of the PMP Manager.

What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for effective delivery of smaller, lower complexity projects or aspects of project portfolios.
- Report the status of projects / project portfolios in accordance with the requirements of the project.
- Manage and report variances to project baseline and report project Key Performance Indicators.
- Review project data, identify and report trends, highlight anomalies and propose corrective action if performance is outside specification.
- Ensure effective controls are implemented in accordance with the company management procedures to achieve the project success criteria.
- Accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders in accordance with the defined timescales.
- Facilitated and manage risk and opportunity activities.
- Support bids and proposals by providing functional expertise in planning, estimating and project management costs.

Who we’re looking for:

- Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
- Member of a professional body and working towards a APMP qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in a relevant discipline, preferably on project work
- Working towards APMP / PMI qualification or equivalent (or assessed as possessing equivalent knowledge/experience to the same standard).
- Experience in the development and / or implementation of project management processes and lifecycle, and a good knowledge of the project control processes.
- Highly competent Microsoft Office suite user.
