Medequip Connect is a country-wide provider of Emergency Mobile Response, Pendant Alarm Monitoring Services and Assistive Telecare Services for the elderly and vulnerable adults in the UK. Our service enables people to remain independent for longer, with their families in their own homes.

This role will be supporting our Dorset contract and will be joining a friendly and skilled team.

**The Role**:

- To complete installations, repair, maintenance, reviews and collection of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) equipment, with new and existing clients throughout the area.
- To identify the clients’ current needs by completing appropriate paperwork and assessments, in line with TSA and the Company’s criteria and procedures.
- To set-up client equipment and process/recycle returned equipment and clean it in line with Medequip’s decontamination policy, and to comply with TSA standards and the Company’s environmental statement.
- To be responsible for stock and undertake auditing of the stock and maintain current databases in accordance with Company requirements.
- To ensure any company vehicle and any tools or equipment is properly maintained.
- To work with the clients, their families, and third-party’s such as GPs, nurses, social workers, and voluntary groups in order to maintain the independence and well-being of the client.
- To engage with current clients whilst doing reviews and assessments to assess their individual needs and to offer opportunities for them to extend their level of services should they need to.
- To assist the Area Manager with the promotion of Medequip Connect in the Dorset area and to establish links within local communities to raise awareness of our services.
- To assist with the marketing of Medequip Connects services by liaising with GP’s, voluntary groups etc. to increase awareness in local areas through Dorset.
- To assist with attendance at events and present our services to groups of people and to make them aware of how we can help them to live an independent life with our services.
- To report and action faulty equipment promptly and to refer requests for additional sensors etc
- To provide last resort cover for Careline Response Teams (if appropriate to the area) in emergencies during your working hours if you are not engaged in the above tasks.
- To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the company, or meet the requirements of the Supporting People commissioning body.

**The Person**:

- Have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 3 years
- Deliver a service with empathy and care
- Work well independently and as part of a team as well as having good communication skills
- Be flexible with working days/hours to suit the needs of the business
- Participate in an emergency on-call rota
