Macildowie are actively recruiting for an experienced **Administrator** to join a Care Home within the **Todmorden** area.
This is a **temporary** position with the potential to progress into **permanent**, after a successful first 12 weeks. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5 or 8-4.
- Answer the telephone, respond to enquiries from visitors at reception, and re-direct enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure continuity of the payroll and arrange the accurate calculation of gross wages on a weekly basis using computer and manual systems.
- Provide administrative / secretarial support to the Home Manager e.g. typing, filing, and dealing with correspondence etc. within given time scales.
- Prepare and submit relevant individual financial information to the Sales Ledger department to ensure that invoices are produced accurately and promptly.
- Maintain complete and regulatory compliant files for staff members in line with the company's policies and procedures.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Cold Harbour is required.
- Financial knowledge such as bookkeeping is also essential.
- Experience within a Care Home/Health Care role is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Confident, friendly and well-presented.
