**Your role and responsibilities**

The purpose of this position is to serve as a support function to the Management Team by providing an excellent service to our management team, clients and visitors. This will include, keeping accurate records, various administration duties related to practice, animal patient care and treatment. The Practice Administrator should remain calm, courteous and professional at all times. Key responsibilities include:

- Accurate and timely production of administrative delegated tasks, ensuring GDPR compliance at all times.
- Carry out and be accountable for any delegated duties, specific tasks or responsibilities allocated by the Practice Manager and other senior members of the practice team.
- Working with the Client Care Team Leader on the administration of client complaints according to the practice complaints procedure and escalate to the appropriate person where necessary, handling any complaint tactfully and pleasantly.
- Responsible for the administration of purchasing, assisting to recover debt for all the practices, including referrals to a third-party debt collection service, Payment of suppliers, Banking, Petty cash and liaising with Linnaeus Central Support finance functions in relation to these tasks.
- Communicate effectively with all Associates at the practice and central support as well as external contacts
- Have a flexible approach to an unpredictable workload, with a willingness to provide support for associates as needed, even if the tasks are not explicitly mentioned in this job description or specific delegated jobs list.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

Experience
- A minimum of 12 months’ administration experience
- Previous experience of working in an office environment
- IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
- Knowledge of client-based computer system, teams and outlook.

**Qualifications**

English and Maths GCSE and good general education

Any form of administration qualification.
