Job Title: Safety Advice Line Consultant
- Base: London
- Reports To: Safety Advice Line Manager
- BACKGROUND
- The First Option Safety Advice Line (AL) is an important part of our integrated service offer, alongside our online resources and consultant support. It is the ‘face’ of the business and therefore needs to deliver the highest possible level of support, advice and client experience.
- PURPOSE
- PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working to the Head of Production Safety & Head of Events, Studios & Corporate Safety and in close liaison with colleagues:
- Review client risk assessments and other safety documentation.-
- Undertake research to update and develop company guidance.-
- Use and maintain company telephone and ticket systems to ensure clients receive prompt and efficient responses.-
- Be prepared to undertake familiarisation visits to client locations. PERSON_
- SPECIFICATION_

ESSENTIAL- Good standard of education.- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and guidance.- The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.- The ability to write clear correct English.- Able to work as a team member.

DESIRABLE- Good keyboard skills, experience of word processing and office IT systems.

PERSONAL QUALITIES- A self-disciplined and professional approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills.- A natural facilitator with the proven ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.- A flexible and pragmatic approach and adaptable to a fast moving and constantly evolving environment.- Perceptive with an analytical and challenging mind.- Able to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines.
