**Overview**:
Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance team where you will be collaborating with the wider teams on a daily basis. The role is exceptionally broad where you will be responsible for revenue analysis, forecasting & budgeting, and month-end assistance.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be pivotal in managing the company's revenue-related activities. This includes working closely with the growth team and ensuring the accuracy of revenue forecasting and analysis. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire revenue lifecycle, from forecasting to actual reporting.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Revenue Forecasting and Analysis:_
- Collaborate with the growth team to accurately forecast both gross and net revenue. Being their go to finance person.
- Take full responsibility for all aspects of net revenue and above, ensuring all revenue-related metrics are accurately tracked and reported.
- Provide detailed revenue forecasts that will aid in strategic planning and decision-making processes across the organisation.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting:_
- Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and reforecasts.
- Work closely with department heads for input but also to direct resource allocation and decision-making and make adjustments where necessary.
- Monitor and control costs (both internal and external) across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Work with departments to optimise spending while maintaining operational effectiveness.
- Financial Analysis & Month end:_
- Provide insights on pricing strategies, service offering profitability, and revenue growth opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Identifying variances and working with teams to understand the underlying causes.
- Actualise month end close inline with revenue recognition policy.
- Working capital management (accrued/deferred revenue).
- Costing and Estimating:_
- Serve as the right-hand person to the growth team by providing crucial input into costing and estimating for new projects and ongoing initiatives.
- Develop and refine costing models that accurately reflect the financial implications of various business activities and projects.
- Ensure that all estimates are based on sound financial principles and up-to-date market information.
- Project Financial Management:_
- Act as the primary source of truth on live projects within the business, maintaining up-to-date and accurate information on project revenues.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the finance and growth teams, ensuring that any potential revenue issues are identified and addressed promptly.
- Assist the CS & Growth team with supplier negotiations and contract management.

**Personal Specification**
- Essential_
- You are a qualified accountant or QBE.
- 1-2 years' experience in a Commercial Accountant role or similar ideally within a multinational services organisation.
- Numerate and analytical with strong IT skills including Excel and Google Sheets.
- Phenomenal attention to detail, highly organised, and with a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Good all-rounder, proactive team player.
- You relish the opportunity to enhance processes, encompassing continual improvement in order to boost efficiency.
- A desire to work in a high-growth & fast-paced environment.

- Experience of cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, QB Online).
