An exciting prospect has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to work within the Specialist Nursing Service at Redgrave Children’s & Young People Centre.
This is a fabulous opportunity that awaits an enthusiastic team player who is eager for a new challenge and has a passion to make a difference We would expect you to have experience of working with children & young people and excellent interpersonal skills.
Part of the role will be facilitating workshops both on TEAMS and in person. Training, clinical support and induction will be offered to support this process.
You will work with children, young people and families and delivering care in clinic, educational and other community settings as the need arises.

To work directly with families identified as needing support. To liaise with the family and multidisciplinary team when delivering support and see k appropriate support and supervision.
To take an active role in workshops with parents (online and in person) providing advice, support and administrative support.
To assess the appropriate support services required and to facilitate access, which will include signposting and supporting onward referrals to support services or clinical interventions.
To work with all professionals to identify early support needs for children, young people and their families

Main
**Responsibilities**:
To keep accurate and contemporaneous records consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
To guide families to appropriate Universal support.
To act as a chaperone for child protection medicals as required.
To take part in service development projects as required.
To deliver QB testing on a regular basis.
To take blood pressure and pulse readings, and complete growth monitoring for children and young people. Training will be available.
To ensure clinical spaces are well equipped and ready to use.
To ensure all equipment used in the clinic setting is safe, serviced, and appropriate for use.

To ensure clinic rooms are well stocked with any necessary equipment.

Maintaining own professional development and requirement to take part in appraisal and KSF process.
Clinical and Practice Governance
Observe and maintain strict confidentiality with regards to any patient/family/staff/records and information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
Any data that is taken/shared as part of a phone call or transported, faxed, or transferred electronically must be undertaken with regard to the Trust Information Governance and Information Security policies.
The post holder must adhere to the Trust risk assessment and risk management processes
The post holder must adhere to infection control policies and procedures
Undertake mandatory training and any other training relevant to the role as required by Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust.
The post holder must participate in clinical and safeguarding audits as required
Participate in Clinical & Safeguarding supervision on a regular basis with Line Manager
The post holder is required to participate in relevant emergency preparedness process for their team.
