Seeking self-employed Sales Consultants to cover various locations across the UK.

Full training and support given, along with a network of 80 other self-employed sales consultants.

The position would suit someone with an interest in interior design and bespoke furnishing or someone who just loves customer interaction.

Plumbs Ltd Is a 60-year-old, family run business selling and manufacturing a comprehensive range of bespoke soft furnishing solutions. We offer a unique range of services including sofa covers/Re-upholstery/made to measure curtains and we cover the whole of the UK.

**Role**
- To promote and sell the Company’s portfolio of home furnishing solutions which includes fabric furniture covers; reupholstery services and curtains.
- To manage the allocated postcodes within the territory
- To take Company generated sales opportunities forward to a home visit and convert into a profitable sales conclusion.
- To measure and fit cover and curtain solutions as necessary.
- To achieve results in line with Company expectations and minimum performance standards.

**Skills & Responsibilities**
- Sales experience either B2C or B2B
- Knowledge of the sofa, upholstery, têxtile industry would be advantageous (not essential)
- Ability to take on board basic technical instruction
- To take sales leads and arrange, manage personal diary appointments to include route planning.
- To discuss the various furnishing options with potential customers and present a quotation using the Company custom-built app, based upon fabric choice and solution type.
- To secure an order and take initial deposit payment.
- If required, to take a selection of accurate measurements of furniture and/or windows to match with the orders secured for covers and/or curtains.
- To return and fit furniture covers where applicable and take final payment.
- To return and fit curtains where necessary and take final payment (a third-party service may be available in the sales area)
- To ensure all necessary cash banking following the sale is completed.
- To respond to any post sales production/fitting queries as directed by Head Office

- Sales Per Lead
- Conversion
- AOV
- Individual targets will be issued quarterly to all Home Consultants on an individual basis by Regional Manager

**Key Competencies**
- Punctuality - first impressions count

- Live locally within the chosen territory
- Own a suitable, fully insured vehicle to transport fabric books and furniture covers
- Familiar with the use of an iPad to utilize the in-home sales app
