**About the role**

This role covers three key areas for DFDS. 1) Support and Assist the Terminal Operations Manager with the day to day running of operations, 2) To provide back-office support to the Operations Teams, 3) Maintain and complete various Operational and government reports, KPIs.

You will be responsible for:

- Perform regular compliance checks as instructed
- Ensure records and reports are accurate and up to date
- Maintain various online platforms/team Sites.
- Take an active role with regards to equipment inventory/condition/maintenance etc
- Take an active role with regards to understanding standard systems, bespoke systems and processes/procedures etc
- Take an active role in problems solving,

**About you**

A strong team ethic is key to the department success and personal detail so you will need to be a team player, flexible in nature and be able to be calm, courteous and polite in any given situation. A strong knowledge of Microsoft software and systems would be desirable whilst also presenting with excellent organizational skills to be able to manage your own work load.
