At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft. We have an new exciting and career defining opportunity for a Site Health & Safety Administrator to join the team. Your role will be predominantly supporting the site by conducting H&S assessments, noting health and safety concerns, taking noise readings and compiling reports.
**How You'll Contribute**:
- Support the HSE Lead and HSE Advisor
- Implement GKN Aerospace HSE policies and procedures throughout the site
- Facilitate required HSE documentation including risk assessments
- Report and manage all incidents on HSE data collection system
- Provide reports as required on site HSE performance
- Ensure employees are trained and competent in relation to HSE
- Ensure statutory compliance of the site
- Support HSE site certifications as required
**What You'll Bring**:
Essential:
- Awareness of Health, Safety and Environment
- Knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation (e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974)
- Good communication and people skills
Desirable:
- Understanding of industry, national and local HSE requirements
- Experience within Health, Safety and Environmental
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Presentation skills
- Ability to analyse data
