Refuse Collection Loader

Hourly

Mid Sussex

Serco Workforce Solutions are looking for **Casual Refuse Collections Loader** to join our team of essential key workers and help us make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

What you’ll be doing*

*
To carry out refuse & recycling collections daily with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.
- Undertaking all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal.
- Use of in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed by the Contract.
- Completing relevant paperwork in real time.
- Responsible for the daily inspection and reporting of machinery, before and after usage, including vehicles.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
- To maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly members of the public.

Your typical working hours are:*
- 6am to 2pm
- OR
- 7am to 4pm
- Monday - Friday

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to undertake tasks.
- Previous relevant experience desirable.
