We are looking for Support Workers to support a young man in his own home, who is fun loving with complex health needs and autism. A driver would be needed due to the location being in a rural area, and the service also provides a car as our person enjoysbeing out and about his community. He does enjoy a variety of activities and is a fan of Dr Who

No two days are the same but your day might look like this

**Main Duties**:

- The people we support require support with at home day to day life as well as community-based activities
- Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond
- Supporting our people with social activities, and connecting with family and friends
- Supporting the management of our people’s finances
- Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping
- Providing, and encouraging, personal care
- And enjoying what you do

**Requirements of this job**:

- Level 2 in Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this
- Experience of caring for Learning Disability and Behaviours that Challenge
- Experience of working in the community or care home on a one-to-one basis with service users
- Knowledge of the issues affecting vulnerable people
- Understanding of the need to keep within professional boundaries
- The ability to be flexible to fit in with the shift patterns including days, nights, weekends, and bank/public holidays.
