**Job Title: Agency Children's Support Worker**

**Location: Sunderland**

**Salary: £11.44 per hour, £36 per sleep and £14.25 per hour for bank holidays**

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and supporting their emotional, mental, and physical development? We are looking for committed residential support workers to join our team in providing care for children and teenagers in our client’s residential care homes.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Creating and maintaining a positive environment for the children.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to help children develop self-esteem and confidence.
- Monitoring and managing children's behaviour.
- Developing and implementing daily routines, activities, and programs.
- Communicating children's progress and needs to the appropriate team members.
- Undertaking domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well as a part of a team.
- The ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.
- A positive outlook and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.

**As an agency we do not hold a licence to offer sponsorships.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44-£14.25 per hour
