We are delighted to be working with a client, recruiting on their behalf for a **Senior Support Worker**, a role that is available on a full-time basis based in the Sunderland area.

This is a long-term role and commands a standard hourly rate of £11.60 per hour for day time hours, with enhanced rates paid for night work.

Experience of working with children and young people is essential, and having current accredited training for example, Safe Handling of Medication, Moving & Assisting and First Aid, etc would be advantageous. As well as, an Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to get one is also essential.

You must have a demonstrable passion to want to help support vulnerable people within a community as well as have a motivated, caring and hard-working attitude.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working as part of a team, providing and promoting person-centred care and support, enabling children and young people to make choices and have control over their daily lives.
