Job Overview: As a Poultry Industry Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing various aspects of our operations. Your responsibilities will include employee delegation, transportation organization, payroll calculations, accommodation booking for trips away, and recruitment of additional staff when required.
Key Responsibilities:
**Employee Delegation**:
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of the poultry teams.
- Monitor and assess employee performance, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and cooperation.
**Transportation Organization**:
- Coordinate the scheduling and allocation of transport
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Organise vehicle maintenance and inspections.
**Payroll Calculations**:
- Accurately calculate and process staff payroll, including overtime and bonuses.
- Maintain precise records of hours worked and relevant payroll information.
- Liaise with the accounts department for any payroll-related queries or concerns.
**Accommodation Booking**:
- Arrange accommodation for employees during trips away for training or business purposes.
- Ensure accommodations meet company standards and budget
**Recruitment**:
- Identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment process.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new hires.
Qualifications:
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Drivers License essential
