**Loc**ation - **The role will be based at our Leatherhead office with flexible and agile working arrangements. There is a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week.**

**Duration - 6-12 month Fixed Term Contract**

KBR Government Solutions EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) provides technology-enabled solutions across the defense, nuclear, space and critical national infrastructure spectrum. As a key partner to the UK government supporting strategic, long-term programmes, such as army basing and operation, nuclear decommissioning, military flight training and overseas contingency support, EMEA acts as a delivery partner integrating technologies and designing systems into solutions to meet client needs from crime scene forensics to alternative energy and fuels.

We are looking for a Document Administrator with strong organisation and problem-solving skills, to join our small, dynamic, enthusiastic security vetting team who will liaise with our Government Solutions Europe, Middle East and Africa (GS EMEA) functions at all levels, including our Government clients.

**Please note KBR does not offer sponsorship and will only consider applicants who have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom, and who have lived in the UK with unbroken residency for at least the past five years.**

**This will require a full clean UK driving licence and a valid passport.**

**Responsibilities**
- Initiate and co-ordinate security documentation for on-boarding new staff
- Check compliance and quality of documents, ensuring all documentation is compliant with processes, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with outside Government agencies
- Support the Security Controller in safeguarding the integrity of data and information relating to contracts and personnel
- Maintain security register and security documentation
- Provide support to the Security Controller and deputise to the Senior Security Document Specialist, as required
- Attend project meetings to provide support
- Liaise and provide support to KBR Projects i.e. Supply Chain and functional areas
- Maintain and update security tracker

**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- Strong critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to prioritise a demanding workload in line with requirements, whilst maintaining accuracy
- Ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within both the Security Team as well as Project Managers
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and professionally and display high levels of discretion and integrity
- Ability to manage own workload with mínimal supervision
- Proficiency with MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge or working with security documentation would be advantageous
