ACTIVITY COORDINATORS WILL HELP TO SUPPORT RESIDENTS WITH THEIR DAILY LIFESTYLE ACTIVITIES.

OUR TEAM DELIVERS HIGH QUALITY CARE AND SUPPORT TO OUR RESIDENTS PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL NEEDS.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a diverse activities program that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents.
- Conduct assessments to identify residents' interests, preferences, and needs, and incorporate these into the activities schedule.
- Lead a team of activities assistants, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Collaborate with the Management team, healthcare professionals and care staff to ensure activities are adapted to the individual needs of residents.
- Organise and oversee special events, outings, and holiday celebrations.
- Maintain records and documentation related to activities, attendance, and resident progress.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments to enhance the overall program.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.

- Previous experience in a similar role within a care home setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative approach to activity planning.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of older adults.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor.

HOURS AND SHIFTS CAN BE FLEXIBLE AND DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW.

EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.

THE CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO BE COMPUTER LITERATE.

EMPLOYMENT WILL BE SUBJECT TO DISCLOSURE & BARRING SERVICE (DBS) CHECKS.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
