Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Willowbrook Care Home. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and organize a range of events and activities that promote socialization, engagement, and well-being among residents.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure activities align with the home's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify resident interests and preferences.
  • Design and implement programs that cater to different age groups and abilities.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all activities.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing programs and events.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
  • Passion for working with older adults and promoting their well-being.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44 to £12.50 (dependent on experience).
  • A 30-hour contract, including weekends.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata).
