We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Reward, Policy and Payroll to join our People Team to support in our ‘Get’, ‘Grow’, ‘Keep’ strategy.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the Head of Rewards Policy & Payroll, you will be responsible for supporting the Rewards and Policy team with all payroll, remunerations and benefits strategies for Butlin’s, in order to attract, retain, engage and motivate our teams. This willinclude all payroll remuneration and benefits along with bonuses and pensions. Alongside your colleagues, you will implement reward frameworks and ensure that these are set to encourage our team to thrive and delight our guests.
As one of our business experts in all thing’s payroll and rewards, you will be a key player in a number of business projects and will provide advice and guidance where needed. This will often involve complex market benchmarking and analysis of key trendswithin your field of expertise.
You will support payroll and the core cyclical reward activities including annual salary review and bonus payments and will ensure that all changes are communicated effectively to our teams.
Working alongside other members of the people team, you will also develop and monitor job evaluation and grading processes to ensure our organisational design remains consistent and in line with budget.
Our People Policies play a huge part in how we communicate to our teams across the business, and you will be supporting the Head of Rewards with reviewing, updating and managing these in line with employment law and our business objectives and values.
**About You**
We are looking for a talented reward professional who is looking to make a meaningful impact on our teams here at Butlin’s.
Working as part of a small reward team, you will provide support to our People Team and to our leadership across the business. You will help to shape the rewards strategies going forward so will need to be an excellent communicator, preferably with a payrollbackground as this role will primarily be based around payroll and rewards.
You will have a good understanding of commercial strategy with the ability to shape reward strategies that result in measurable and commercially relevant solutions. In the current climate, we are also looking for innovative ways to offer relevant benefitsto our teams to improve attraction and retention.
With an analytical mind, you will be confident in data management and have a good understanding of HR systems to build and manipulate reports that provide meaningful insight. You should also be confident working with excel and being able to pull trends andanalysis from complex information.
This role will be supporting payroll remuneration and benefit policies across all Butlin’s resorts and head office, experience in writing and managing policies is also important, as well as a strong understanding of employment law and legislation.
You may be CIPD qualified which would be advantageous but is not essential. We are much more interested in your experience, your mindset and your approach.
