This exciting role within Lincolnshire Community Health Services will support the transformation, development and quality of clinical skills across our service lines within our beautiful county. We are looking to recruit individuals that have either a NMC or HCPC registration that thrive in a teaching environment, have an innovative approach to learning and development and wants to enable our workforce to be competent, confident and capable.

The Clinical Skills Trainers will deliver an identified programme of skills training such as venepuncture, injection techniques and physiological observations. There are clear objectives which involve working clinically with the learners as well as facilitating study days, programmes and workshops.

The Clinical Skills Trainers will also be delivering the new to LCHS, annual Essential Clinical Skills Update training package to all patient-facing staff. This includes topics such as medicines management, tissue viability and frailty care.

You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills along with the ability to support with learning objectives and give challenging feedback.
