Health Care Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Administer medication under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Assist in the implementation of care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience (at least 3 months) in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Basic IT skills for record keeping purposes
- Valid driver's license is an asset (for Home care)
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
