Senior AR Controller

**What you would do as our Senior AR Controller**:
We are looking for a Senior AR Controller to join one of the UK’s most recognized architectural hardware brands, synonymous with architectural ironmongers, builders’ merchants, and major DIY retailers since 1986. You would manage and safeguard the companies’ sales ledger by maximising cash flow, minimising bad debts, reducing overdue percentages and ensuring accounts are maintained within the group policies and reporting requirements.

You would also:

- Review credit limits monthly and adhering to our credit insurance policy.
- Post and accurately allocating cash receipts.
- Develop and build on good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, customers and managers.
- Highlight any potential risks and concerns to the AR & AP Manager and assist with Internal and external audits.
- Be involved in any other duties as reasonably requested by the AR & AP Manager which fall within the role’s responsibilities.

**The skills and experience you need**:
We are looking for someone who:

- Works productively, accurately, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales.
- Has excellent communication, negotiation and teamworking skills and also strong attention to detail.
- Has a finance background, this is desirable although not essential.
