Our client is a leading Tier 1 construction firm committed to excellence in every project.They pride themselves on their innovative approach and dedication to quality.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Document Controller to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects, working a 40 hour week with an 8am start.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Control System Setup and Maintenance:

* Set up and maintain an electronic document control system tailored to the project’s requirements.

* Ensure all documents are accurately logged, stored, and easily retrievable.

Quality Assurance:

* Conduct quality checks on incoming documents from designers and sub-contractors in line with established document control procedures.

* Ensure all documentation contains appropriate metadata for traceability, retrieval, and audit purposes.

Document Support:

* Provide comprehensive document support to ensure all current design specifications, drawings, and associated contract-related documentation are efficiently issued and maintained.

* Assist with formatting documentation and perform quality checks before distribution to clients or downstream stakeholders.

Compliance Monitoring:

* Monitor compliance with document control systems and procedures.

* Advise and support individuals who fail to observe these systems and procedures.

Additional Duties:

* Perform scanning, plotting, printing, and other tasks to support the team.

* Provide expert advice on document management.

* Assist senior management in monitoring the status of project deliverables and the closeout of items.

* Support the business/project in achieving specific work activity objectives and targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience with the ACONEX document control system is essential.

* Excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Proficient in formatting and quality checking documentation.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong communication skills to effectively advise and support team members.
