Our Northern Ireland based construction client is seeking an

The Role
- Identify process and procedural improvements and implement these to enhance the services provided to clients
- Daily review to ensure accidents, incidents, and near misses are managed accordingly and set requirements as well as ownership of tracking RIDDOR accidents
- Review & provide administration support and document control for all projects, using the in-house tracking App, to promote and improve health, safety, welfare, and quality throughout the business.
- Creating team reports, directories, trackers, control of referencing, and revisions of HSE, site, and design documentation, ensuring that all documentation is filed and maintained in the standard company format.
- Conduct an overview of all sub contractor’s information including managing a register of subcontractors, and reviewing their safety statements, risk assessments, and insurance documentation.
- Regularly inspect all places of work across UK & Ireland, prepare and issue detailed reports of such inspections via the company app.
- Ensure that the company, in every area/ site allocated to you, meets health, safety, and welfare at work requirements as set out by current legislation.
- Ensuring that all locations (office & sites) are fully compliant with the most up-to-date Covid 19 Protocols, and updating & communicating any changes as applicable
- Participate in the safety training requirements of the company and the maintenance and update of the register of employee safety training and skills.
- Provide technical assistance on the development of safety procedures, safety and O&M manuals, work rules, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct, coordinate, and/or assist in the investigation of accidents and/or injuries and work to encourage safe working habits and environments.
- Conduct an overview of all Sub contractor’s information including managing a register of subcontractors, reviewing their safety statements, risk assessment, insurance documentation, and providing RAMS per project requirements.
- Conduct other duties in HSE and document management as necessitated by changing business needs.
- Comply with OHSAS 18001 Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents, and procedures and maintain document information/complete department forms/records via IT systems as required.
